Tues, Oct 1: An update from County road department on work planned in the North Fork for October:
-
- The road project at the border is essentially complete. The contractor is finishing up the project and demobilizing. Federal Highways is working with them on some punch list items that remain outstanding.
- The road crew is currently working on multiple culverts in different areas of the NF over for the next couple of weeks.
- The sign crew installed a new “hairpin” sign just to the north of Moose Creek that was requested. They are now busy on work in the valley and it is unclear if they will be back up the NF in October to replace more signs.
- A crew is working on the Wurtz slump drainage and plans to finish up over the next couple of days
