Thurs, Oct 10 update from the county road department:
[Passed along by Jack McFarland] Dave Prunty says they are about finished for the year on North Fork Road improvements. They will be complete this week on the following projects:

- Fixed the slump at Wurtz
- Replaced the culvert south of Moose Creek
- Added signs on the sharp corner south of Moose Creek
- Replaced hairpin curve sign just north of Moose Creek

That is it for the year as we head towards plowing season…
Tues, Oct 1: An update from County road department on work planned in the North Fork for October…
The road crew is currently working on multiple culverts in different areas of the NF over for the next couple of weeks.

- The sign crew installed a new “hairpin” sign just to the north of Moose Creek that was requested. They are now busy on work in the valley and it is unclear if they will be back up the NF in October to replace more signs.
- A crew is working on the Wurtz slump drainage and plans to finish up over the next couple of days
